We are thrilled to offer partial to complete financial aid support to those in need. As we grow as an organization and as donations are made to further support the efforts to put #morekidsonbikes, our financial aid resources will continue to grow. Financial aid is our commitment to help you be part of this amazing experience. We ask for your commitment in return, a commitment to participation with your team by attending 90% of practices or more. We also want you to tell us about your experience, because it is important to share the stories made possible through this program. If awarded financial aid, you should be prepared to write a letter or shoot a quick video explaining what the sport meant for you. Your identity will be kept confidential at your request. Financial Aid is available for season fees. Scholarship applications will open 1 October 2023. If your rider is in need of financial aid, FIRST submit a request with every kid sports. Then, complete and submit the NCICL Financial Aid Application by Jan 19th 2024. We will review your application and get back to you as soon as possible about the level of financial aid we are able to offer to you.
Every kid deserves the chance to play youth sports.
For NCICL families with financial need, check out the program every kid sports. At every kid sports, they believe every kid deserves the chance to play sports. Why? The positive impact and outcomes experienced through participation, that’s why. Be it social connection, mental/emotional well-being, or physical development, so much is in play. every kid sports partners with individuals and organizations to fund their every kid sports pass. This program removes the financial obstacle of participation and encourages families to apply four times per year, per kid, allowing for multi-sport experiences and kid choice.
Coach Financial Aid
Financial Aid is also available to support coaches. Please submit the scholarship application with the appropriate fields for coaches and be as clear as possible about your situation. We’ll do what we can to assist your desire to be part of the league’s mission to get more kids on bikes!
Pathfinders
Every year Trek partners with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) to grow diversity in the sport of cycling and provide better access for people of color (POC). The Trek NICA Pathfinders Scholarship will again provide selected student-athletes with a Trek Marlin mountain bike, helmet, shoes, accessories, and a kit, as well as a stipend for NICA league and entry fees for the season. For Spring Leagues the Pathfinder Scholarship opens in mid-August and closes mid-September. Click the button below to find out more and apply.
